My 2.5 year old daughter is extremely talkative at home with parents & grandparents only. But whenever any guest comes to our house or she is taken outside or she goes to school (playgroup) or she meets her friends anywhere, she just becomes silent as if she cannot talk. Is this really a psychological disorder that needs to be attended or she will be OK automatically ?
My friend is a Doctor... he has IBS... and he is depressed with suicidal thoughts(occasional)... he is of the opinion that if a doctor is thinking that suicide is The Option for him no body can reason him out of it... he has been a very good student at college with loads of honors to his credit, but now he has literally stopped all preparations for the PGs... I'm a doctor too... am at my wits end about how to convince him to seek expert hep... Do you think medicines, counseling can help him provided that he knows which medicine does what, what are the adverse effects, what are the failure rates... I desperately need help.
